Asian Echo donne la parole à celles et ceux — asiatiques ou non — qui interrogent les stéréotypes et les formes invisibles de discrimination envers les personnes asiatiques hors d’Asie, en particulier dans la société française.


Chaque invité·e porte un filtre en réalité augmentée, représentant un visage asiatique dessiné par l’artiste Mona Young-eun Kim, qui a conçu et réalisé le podcast, avec la participation de Diego Jungmyung Lim à la co-animation et à la recherche.

He is also a board member of Île-de-France Mobilités and a member of both the General Assembly and the Board of Directors of the Fonds Régional d’Art Contemporain (FRAC) Île-de-France.

Yanni Chen, of Chinese origin, is the founding director of the Franco-Chinese agency Philart and the European representative of Meet You Museum.

Dominique Homardpayette, of Taiwanese origin, is an artist working in photography and video, also known under the name Dominique Shine.

S1E8 - Korean Artists in France with Hyeonsuk KIM

Hyeonsuk Kim, of South Korean origin, is President of the Sonamou association. She teaches in the Department of Fine Arts at Université Paris 8, is an associated researcher with the TEAMeD research group, and a member of Langarts.

Simeng Wang, of Chinese origin, is a sociologist and research fellow at the CNRS. She is also the co-author of L’expérience du racisme et des discriminations des personnes originaires d’Asie de l’Est et du Sud-Est en France(REACTAsie), a major study on the lived experiences of racism and discrimination faced by people of East and Southeast Asian origin in France.
